HannA

Hi guys! My name is Hanna, and I am the senior Exercise Physiologist at In Motion.

Exercise and movement is crucial for our teens and young people, especially in building self-confidence, decision making skills, and belief in their own abilities, to help them navigate these tough years, and guide them into adulthood.

I understand that movement looks different to everyone, with everyone having different abilities, experiences, comfort zones and preferences. This is why I tailor my programs to meet the specific goals, needs, and visions of each individual young person.

My goal is to help assist our youth to discover their ‘what’ and, more importantly, their ‘why’ in relation to movement & well-being. Witnessing improvements in the physical capacity of each participant, but also the development of a young person’s confidence and mental health through exercise, is one of my favourite parts of the job. And being able to reflect on someone’s journey, from where they started, to where they get to, is something so special, & that I am grateful to be a part of.

Through my practice, I aim to assist our teens and young people to achieve their goals through play-based and evidence-based therapy, ensuring they feel safe, confident, supported, and have fun along the way!
